Construction-Customer Service

Summary:

This is a customer service opportunity that requires account management skills, Construction Background, project management skills as well as new employee training skills.  This position must maintain open communications with the client on various levels to execute capital projects & service requests to completion.

REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience:

 An ideal applicant will have at a minimum an Associate’s degree in Project Management or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Facility Maintenance, & Construction trades.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage & develop new customer accounts.
  • Bid a variety of capital projects & develop an appropriate scope of work.
  • Negotiate contracts & maintain an open dialogue with customers.
  • Work with Property Managers, Landlords, & Clients to complete projects of all sizes.
  • Determine code & permit requirements for projects.
  • Train new employees.
  • Resolve conflicts & problems with suppliers, subcontractors, & customers.
  • Create client reports & support the Facility Maintenance Department Manager.
  • Dispatch & execute service call requests.
  • Manage & follow-up with subcontractors / vendors until job completion.
  • Maintain RMS databases & job files.
  • Process job files for invoicing.
