Primary Function

Responsible for all recruiting efforts, community relations, retention efforts, employee relations and sourcing for plant candidates.  Is responsible for managing the hiring efforts and managing the new employee experience within the area they are staffing in order to ensure the best outcomes in employee retention.


Responsibilities and Tasks

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Job description creation
  • Sourcing resumes by Job posting and CRM management; utilizing social and networking sites
  • Conduct open interviews and attend job fairs
  • Lead the interview and selection process with hiring manager of their assigned department
  • Makes offers, onboard and conducts orientation for new hires
  • Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Is actively involved in the employee experience to improve employee retention
  • Accountable for the hiring and professional development of the people within their assigned department.
  • Ensures the quality of people is continually assessed to deliver superior results.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Skill Levels / Education and/or Work Experience

  • Three-Five years high-volume recruiting experience combined with working knowledge of HR regulations.
  • Need to work Onsite-No REMOTE work
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
  • Make decisions and solve problems.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
  • Excellent verbal, people, and judgment skills.
